Girl Gang Testimonials

Girl Gang. noun.

A body positive sisterhood of amazing women who have your back. Always. Commonly called girlfriends. Often laugh at fart jokes. Are impartial to random dance parties & brownies. Are the collective "She in "She moves for her mind". Will celebrate your 'Small Victories' with you as if they were their own. Are your biggest cheerleaders.

NO mean girls admitted.

What do you love about The Self Care Sisterhood?

The thing I love most about SCS is the community of women who love, encourage, and empower each other.

How has Chloe helped you?

Chloé has helped me feel three big things - safe, confident, and secure in my body. Before I started in August last year, I felt so self conscious and now I feel strong - and stronger everyday!

Would you recommend The SCS? And if so, why?

I would recommend SCS 1000%, especially for women with chronic and/or mental illness. It's a supportive environment where workouts can be tailored to your needs and there is no pressure to 'perform'. We move for our own minds, not to out do each other, or to punish ourselves.

What do you love about The Self Care Sisterhood?

I love that The Self Care Sisterhood is a safe place for all women. I always feel welcome and I can walk into a session with Chloe knowing I will be looked after.

How has Chloe helped you?

Chloe has helped me by being my friend, being understanding and always working around me. I know that I don’t have to cancel my personal training session if I’m having a bad day because Chloe understands. She’ll always make sure I’m comfortable and is happy to swap my session for a stretching class if I’m just not feeling up to it mentally.

Would you recommend The SCS? And if so, why?

I recommend the self care sisterhood EVERYDAY. I literally talk about Chloe to anyone who will listen. This girl has made such a huge difference in my life and I just want everyone else to be able to benefit too!

What do you love most about The Self Care Sisterhood?

The support, the acceptance, the celebration of small victories!

How has Chloe helped you?

To count small victories not calories, to clearly state goals so that I know EXACTLY what I am aiming for and to take ownership of it.

Would you recommend The Self Care Sisterhood? If so, Why?

The SCS is for everyone, regardless of fitness level or body shape. Having a gang that understands that sometimes it’s hard to do the simplest things is something everyone should experience. So yes I would recommend SCS….for the laughter, the jokes and the daggy dancing.

What do you love most about The Self Care Sisterhood?

Well first of all who doesn't love seeing Chloe!?

I really like all the girls I have met so far and although I have only been to a couple of classes I always feel amazing afterwards especially with Chloe's guided mediations at the end of class. I suck at mediating because of my OCD but Chloe has some kind of voodoo voice magic that just helps me relax.

How has Chloe helped you?

Chloe is very professional and so inspiring in everything she does within The Self Care Sisterhood. She helps in anyway possible and is so understanding when it comes to Mental Health, she helps to make me feel as though I'm not alone.

Would you recommend The Self Care Sisterhood? If so, why?

I think every female should be coming to The Self Care Sisterhood, it's not just exercise and keeping fit it's a life style and new way of living, communicating and self love.

The Self Care Sisterhood is a must for all ladies!

What do you love most about The Self Care Sisterhood?

Meeting new people, and not feeling intimitated by the overall feel of the gym- it's a community, not just a place to work out.  Plus accountability for booking my classes and turning up!!

How has Chloe helped you?

Chloe's reminders of the importance of meditation and breathing in day to day life and remembering to move for our minds!

Would you recommend The SCS? And if so, Why?

HECK YEAH I would!! Regardless of shape, fitness level or point in life, Chloe has formed a community for all women to feel comfortable in, to share the (many shared) lows and the (abundant) highs and the jokes with.

What do you love most about The Self Care Sisterhood?

I leave every session feeling happy, relaxed and proud of myself and the other girls for what we achieved. I look forward to classes now, I’ve never enjoyed training before!!

How has Chloe helped you?

I was injured and scared of hurting myself again. Chloe alters every exercise to your ability or injuries. She has helped me to get stronger and get over the physical injury and helped me stop thinking I couldn’t do it!

Would you recommend The SCS? And if so, Why?

Yes! I recommend it to all my friends. It is a supportive, easy environment to get into or improve your exercise levels which improves all other parts of your life too. Anyone at any stage can come and belong.

After leaving a gym because of snide comments from others I've spent the last year running instead without having to deal with other people's judgemental looks and horrible words! (#anxiety)

Thought I'd give the self care sisterhood group workouts a go - and loved it. Chloe is super professional, lovely, not-judgemental and super enthusiastic/excited to have your company. I'm back on the group fitness bandwagon and keen to move for my mind, rather than moving just to see the scale number drop.

If you're looking for a judgement free space with lovely women this is it. Highly recommend.

How do I join?

Book your 'Cuppa w/ Chloe' below to get started!

1. Book yourself in for a "Cuppa with Chloe" (a complimentary 30 minute consult session)- See button below.

2.  Join Chloe at her studio for a coffee & a chat (her shout!) so she can hear your story and talk about any injuries, illness/conditions that you may have. This helps Chloe to see what you & your body are needing & we can make some grace-filled goals that reflect that!

3. We will then make a clear 'Self Care Plan' together that suits you & gets you moving for your mind on your terms.
