Personal Training at the SCS
Become a team with one of our personal trainers so you can move intuitively & on your terms!
As a team we will help you figure out the following before you get started:

What is your “why” for movement - is it to feel good? Strong? Feel more energised? These personal reasons are important to us to help you move intuitively.

Help you discover how your body is moving with a 30 minute movement assessment-
This is not a ‘test’ but a great way for us to see how your body is moving (think mobility, movement patterns & any tightness/soreness you might feel).

Then we will write a program that fits those needs AND also ensure it matches your personal goals
Here’s some goals our current clients are working on AND crushing!

Walking up/down stairs without knee pain

Putting her leg behind her head (a whimsical teenage goal re-visited!)

Building core strength after 3 caesareans

Relieving migraine pain by creating mobility in her chest & strengthening rounded shoulders & back.

Each personal training session includes:
-A warm up, activation & cool down suitable for the workout you will be doing to keep you safe & mobile!
-Lots of demonstrations, hands-on guidance & adjustments so you can master new moves with confidence & agency!
- A range of exercises with options for your body (think body weight, free weights, band work- so you can master "PRSL" or posture, range of motion, stability & load in all the seven main movement groups).
