Reminders for when your inner critic gets loud

I've been a personal trainer for 8 years now, and my inner critic still sometimes gets loud when I move.

Here are some things I like to remind myself so I can stay curious & self compassionate with my movement:

I'm allowed to make mistakes.

I move for my mind first - anything else is an added bonus!

I'm allowed to suck at it.

Feeling puffed or sweaty isn't bad.

I can be strong at any size.

Rest doesn't need to be earned.

Losing my balance means I'm human.

My body, my rules.

Choose the affirmation that resonates for you (or come up with your own!) + use it the next time the negative thoughts get loud when you're moving. You've got this!
